About Taylor Fox

Hi, I'm Taylor.

I have a BS in Nutrition Science from UNC Greensboro, and I am a Nutritious Life Master Certified Nutrition & Wellness Coach. I sought out an amazing education from both formal and "frontline" educators to bring you fact-based instruction that can realistically be harnessed for improving your life.

I am also a mother, partner, and someone who seeks new adventure and memories made with close family and friends. I enjoy the chance to sing, play my guitar, discover a new hiking trail, go swimming and practice mindfulness and yoga. I also love a great cocktail, exploring new farm-to-table restaurants, and reading an endless pile of books on my night-stand.
I believe in today’s world there is a huge disconnect between the healthcare system and REAL health. We are being told as a society what to eat and what not to eat based on current federal health regulations and dietary guidelines, but as a nation we keep getting sicker and sicker. Why is that? What are we missing as healthcare professionals?
 

The push on Big Pharma for doctors to prescribe medications to patients battling chronic diseases has never been greater. I believe that no pill can create health, only manage or mask the root cause for the underlying disease. That is why I’m on a mission to help every human being take a holistic approach to health and feel confident in their ability to live their best quality of life!

So here's my story...

Starting my senior year of high school, leading into college, my health was spiraling downhill fast. Heart disease was and still is prevalent in my family, and in my early twenties my blood pressure along with my weight kept rising. At 190/90, well above the normal range, and at 240 pounds at my highest weight, I knew I had to make a change before I was in a position I did not want to be in.
At the time, with a combination of being away from home, starting college, being completely responsible for my own education and finances, and dealing with a messy divorce of my parents, my stress levels were consistently high. I felt isolated, with no control of where I was going and how I was going to get there. I used food as a means for comfort and self medication. I was an emotional eater.

Overtime, as I began to heal myself through a holistic approach with food, I became fascinated with all things nutrition, so much so that I obtained a degree in Nutrition Science in order to help others do the same. I knew this was my passion, my new found purpose; that this is what I was meant to discover. I believe in offering not another weight loss program, but a lifestyle where the mindset of willpower is erased and empowered eating is embraced!

Like many telehealth services, I offer Coaching Sessions via Zoom calls and Phone Calls. I choose this method of meeting because of it being cost effective for everyone and being able to offer more appointment slot variety.

I understand life can throw us curve balls, so in an effort to be flexible for clients, I do offer TWO FREE opportunities per client to reschedule.

Rescheduling requires at least a 12-hour notice before the appointment to not be considered “missed”. Please email me at taylor@thenaturalwaywithtay.com for any rescheduling needs and I will provide you with a link that allows you to select a new time.

If an appointment is missed or you have already used your free rescheduling opportunities, I offer you a 50% discount on the next appointment you wish to purchase. Please email me at taylor@thenaturalwaywithtay.com and I will provide you with a link that allows you to use this offer.
